Have you already worked out with your soon to be ex-husband that you will keep the house? Will you have to pay him half its value, half your equity, or some other? I don't know how you work out with the mortgage holder how one person gets let off the mortgage.
All these are reasons for why it is sometimes just
simplest to sell the house in divorce.
