I have also searched resell stores to find nice buttons for other suits. If you look hard enough you might find a tattered jacket with gold buttons for only $1.00! People don't know what they have. You can then take the buttons off the tattered jacket and replace the ones on your good suits. No one would ever know differently and you've just saved a huge amount of money on buttons.
