I heard about the Texas refinery explosion while at work today so I tanked up on my way home. I didn't really need gas but I "suspect" as soon as the markets reopen today the price of gasoline will jump up quite a bit.
I pass 5-6 gas stations along my home/work commute I have a good idea of best $$$. Two are always WAAAY high priced. The other 4 are usually very close. Nonday am prices ranged $3.07-3.10. By 2:30 pm one staion had jumped to $3.19. I topped up at 3.07.
This only "saved me" about $1 but every little bit helps.
