I'm agree with most of you that credit cards are neither good nor evil. It depends on how they are used. However I think that they are not, overall good for the sociey. They encourage bad financial management in a society already stressed by structural changes and the process of globlization. You cna't charge your dreams. It just doesn't work. I got into trouble with credit cards in college and it took me years to get out.

I am curious though about reward cards? I love to travel and the possiblity of a free airline ticket sounds wonderful. How do these work. What are the disadvantages of these kinds of cards.
