I didn't pick up any can tomatoes for this sale since I was well stocked. I seem to recall the prices were ~$4.99 for 12 cans (28 oz/794 g). So that's ~42 cents/can.
Wegman's is not too convenient for me (9.35 miles (per their site, crow?

). I laugh when people will drive 10 miles out of their way to pick up a sale item(s). Let's say they get 20 mpg, then lost ~$3 in gas, plus the extra time. I just checked Wegmans website.

~Not too impressed, I tend to stay away from the heavy manufactured stuff too. I see the $0.39 same size cans and the prices are fairly decent on p. 8 of the Princeton flyer. It looks like that would be the only item of interest on that page. Try to resist that great price on the ice cream

None of the items on p. 7 appealed to me.
I buy the puree version of that brand (have in my home now) since it has 15 mg sodium/serving whereas the other version have much higher Na levels.
What is the amount Na/serving in those crushed tomatoes?
I try to remind myself: health first, everything else second.
