I made a pot of beans two days ago, so there will not be much cooking until that is finished.
However, last night I had stir fried garlic broccoli cauliflower with a light sauce of vinegar + soy sauce + ginger. I had some of that sauce left over, so for lunch today I tried some of it in the beans! It made the beans taste less heavy, a completely different taste. Not something I'd serve to company, but I don't regret the experiment. Is this how great cooking discoveries are made?
