I knit and crochet, and it has resulted in a yarn fetish. I tend to shy away from expensive novelty yarn, and most of the time, I donate what I make- so that's tax deductible.

So, the cost I incur is minimal. And now, since I've managed to stockpile so much, it's saving me money because I'm making most of my Christmas presents from what I already have.
