Bankrate is a nice resource but they do not track
all the rates. In fact, there are several accounts tracked here that are not listed on Bankrate's high-yield MMA and savings account list. (Amboy Direct, M&T Bank, Key Direct, Shore Bank, etc.)
In addition, our list narrows the field a bit by not listing accounts offering below a certain rate or requiring high minimums for opening an account, earning the stated interest, or avoiding fees.
