I wouldn't invite the whole class unless there is less than 10 children. Invite several close friends. Ask for RSVP. There is nothing wrong with that. Keep the party to 2-3 hrs.

You can make a cake. Do a sheet cake and get the decorations from the store for a princess.

You can have the girls do each other's hair like a princess, watch the princess diaries movies, play musical chairs.
