Are you sure putting cats outside saves money?

: If I put my cats outside I'll have to buy pet insurance....I won't be able to afford to go to the vet if the cats are injured or the cats got parasites and diseases from being outside.
I used to let my Sunshine outside but he got giordia and almost died. It cost me at least $200 to save him.
Also, if any of them are picked up by animal control, it would cost me $100 just to claim my cat.
