Jen the same here.
With my sahm friends they do watch the dollars. With the ones that work out of the house, they don't seem to want (or need to) stretch the dollar. I will ocassionally share ideas but it is not the main topic of conversation.
For example if I am meeting friends at the park, the sahm will bring lunch for the kids while if someone works out of the house will say let's bring the kids to McDonalds.
