One: Taxes in January so you can get your FAFSA done before February is dual-happiness.
Two: If you must take a loan, take SUBSIDIZED loans (Gov't pays your interest until you graduate)
Three: Tutor, even if it's only in PE. The income is incredible, and you get more out of the classes you're taking/have taken.
Four: Booksharing. Risky, but if you trust your comrades, you can pay $15 for an $80 book successful.
Five: Take many classes by the same professor. You spend less time "figuring out" different teaching styles and more time accomplishing your goals.
Six: Cross-study. Take classes that complement each other, and when you have to write a research paper or something, you've got a recent history of study to help you.
Seven: Depending on the class and your study ability, Knit scarves your friends in the dorms will buy from you.
Eight: Never go to the grocery store more than once a week. If you run out, deal with it.
Nine: Get punch cards at your favorite coffee joint. Even as an off-campus student with a family, I needed coffee while I was out.
