i don't care how exclusive it is, its more about acceptability. last time i checked, Amex was far far behind Visa and Mastercard in terms of number of places where the card is accepted.
Imagine you're a billionairre with your Amex Black card, you walk into a hotel at 3am, you try to book a room but the clerk says "sorry, we don't accept American express"
what would 'exclusive' count for then?
