Even though he is family I don't see how you HAVE TO help him; when it comes to his irresponsible behavior. why support him? Say NO and tell him to have a nice day and that you'll be here for advice when he is ready to get serious. Stop cleaning up his messes by supporting him, you are his safety net, why should he worry about money.
