It boggles my mind. I got on the scale today to weigh myself. (I normally do Monday morning, but was travelling Mon-Wed this week for work, so I hopped on today). I lost 2 pounds from my last check in, for a total of 10. WAHOO. What's bizarre is that I haven't walked on the treadmill for a week and a half (busy with Communion, work and the like), and while I was trying to watch what I ate, between the Communion party and the eating out for work, I'm sure I ate more than my 1600-1800 calorie goal. So I weighed myself expecting to see a pound or two gain, and was thrilled to see that I actually lost. Other weeks when I feel like I've been doing everything right, I gain. I just don't get it, but I'll take it!

One good thing that came out of the weigh-in is that I'm TOTALLY inspired to get back on the treadmill. I didn't want to stop doing it, it just kind of happened because of the schedule. I'll be back on later today.

Way to go everyone, you're all doing great!
