Hmmm. with the price of blades reach ghastly prices, I switched to disposables about a year ago. I shave my armpits pretty much every day, and my legs... when I'm going to a dog show and actually have to wear a skirt. LOL! My husband hates that I hate to shave, but hey... he's not having to shave HALF HIS BODY (I'm 5'10", and that's a lotta leg to shave!)... so I've found that the disposables last me a lot longer than buying replacement blades for the "fancy ones". Probably 3-4 months.
I also learned a trick from a friend of mine years ago... I actually tweeze my legs during the winter months.
It's not terribly painful, but it is time consuming. But at this point, after doing it for the past couple of years, very little hair grows around my ankles, so even if I wear pants that show my ankles, no shaving necessary most of the time!
