We live in a major metropolitan area, densely populated with shopping choices, all of which are along routes that we travel practically every day. We never have to go out of our way to visit any of the grocery store chains in our area. It is very easy to detour into one of them if we know they have a particularly good sale one week. So no wasted time or fuel for us. Only wasted money if we pass up the good deals.
