As an ex member of a cash only community, I've heard ton of stories of people being rob, mostly because the robbers know there's cash in the house. I must say that all the places you listed are places that they turn inside out first, except for a built in steel safe. This is why we don't keep money in the house
Oh, and it's not good to advertise what alarm system you have with the sticker on the window either.
