I was actually thinking about this the other day.
At work, the women's bathroom has free tampons and pads - there are huge boxes full - this is why I don't feel bad taking more than my share. I purposely use the ones from work while at work, plus I take home a large handfull home every month. This probably saves me $3-$5 a month. Not too bad when you realize that is $36-$60 a year!
