A lot of people I know refuse to learn to cook...so if it is rice for dinner it is from the boxed mix..same with pasta...I dunno it seems a simple skill to pick up and the results of my modest effort are no worse than the box (though sometimes just as bad sorry)
And Ditto the TP stealing not being ok.......
Also more for environment but like Tina, we don't use plastic/disposable cutlery or plates though not to firm on it, if others bring it we use it, we just don't buy it. (I have more than enough plates, cups, spoons, bowls, ect for all the people that will fit in my house...though it is a small house.)
And we don't compost, but we do feed thewildlife with our scraps...and have no garbage service...we take all recycling to the center and have a deal with the small amount of trash that is leftover.
