Ima: Sometimes people buy the cell phone just for the use of the 911 call. When you buy the phone, you don't have to buy the minutes. The laws were changed so that just owning the phone would allow you to call out for a true emergency. Many people don't know this. There are a lot of lowered priced phones out there and to me are worth the peace of mind.
