Working From Home - One Year To Live - Consumer Slave - Prepare For The Bird Flu

Financial wake-up call Things I Learned Working From Home: Being someone who works at home myself, I could relate to this post very well. If you are thinking of striking it out on your own and working from home in the future, this is a good list to look over with the added benefit of a bit of humor thrown in.

What do you mean I’m not going to die?: What would you do if your doctor told you that you had terminal pancreatic cancer and would be dying within the year? When John Brandrick was told this by his doctors, he did what I think a lot of people would do. He sold everything that he had and took the money to live life as someone who only had a year left. After he’d gone through all his money, his doctors told him that they made a mistake and he didn’t have terminal cancer. While overjoyed at a second chance at life, he wasn’t too happy about being broke. He is now seeking compensation because the diagnosis was wrong. Does he deserve it?

Are You A Consumer Slave?: Ever wonder if you are consuming more than you need to? Simple Choice Living gives 14 points to take a look at to see if you may have unwittingly become a consumer slave.

I would be in the same financial situation if my doctors told me I only had a year to live. I’d be so happy to have a second chance at life, but extremely pissed about the financial situation.

Thanks for the mention!

Thank you for writing about my article on Consumer Slavery!
