Bankroll Me Woman

I’ve written before about how I am amazed at the ingenuity of people to earn extra money. I was not disappointed in Las Vegas. The best one I saw was the “bankroll me” woman.

This attractive woman sat at a popular casino with a top that said “bankroll me” on it waiting for men to come and talk with her. She would accompany anyone into the casino and play next to them if they would bankroll her playing – Basically, she played using other people’s money. If she lost, it wasn’t her money that she lost and if she won, she kept whatever winnings she had left at the end of a predetermined allotted time.

Apparently (and not surprisingly) there are enough men that want to be seen at a table with an attractive woman that she had no problem finding plenty of them to take her up on her offer.

Wow – there really are a ton of suckers out there! I can’t believe that anyone would risk money like that for anywhere from zero return to 100% loss. It seems that you could take the same amount of money (or less) and get an “escort” which could result in additional benefits instead of just “being seen” at a table.

Not surprising to me. Guys looking for a good time and self estem booster would have no problem just giving away money like that. I mean if they are going to lose the money anyway, why not have company and someone to stare it as well?

Are they still wearing the silly “bankroll me” shirt while they are next to the guy? That would be a turn-off to me… if I was a guy.

Hah, yea, I agree with Mike. The escort would probably be similar cost and have other benefits. Then again, the woman’s service is probably geared toward the hmmm impulse shopper than someone whose planning ahead for ways to boost their egos.

I took my young attractive 20-something friend with me to a local casino for a few lunch & a hours of fun. She had never been inside a casino before. While she sat quietly watching me play 50cent roulette, a flashy older Texas gentleman (you know the type, big hat-no cattle) joined us at the table. He kept bankrolling her $25 outside bets on red/black and encouraged her to pick up “her winnings” each time the bet won. She walked away with about $175 for just sitting pretty and saying little.
