For the past few months I have been collecting money confessions from people at some of the talks that I give.
They anonymously write their confession on a piece of paper. Each day I choose one that I find interesting and I believe is worth sharing. This is confession number 41 in the series:

Sounds like someone believes the ads. Whenever I see an ad that says, “You deserve it!” I think, “How do you know? You don’t know me; I might be a serial killer.”

Some of those are really disturbing, haha.

It is an attitude like that which will keep you never satisfied and poor in your soul. Why can’t people be satisfied with what they have. It is so much more than most of the world has.
