Money Lightbulb2

I love it when I come across a gem video like this. If you are a musician, one of the goal you probably have is signing with a record label. The problem with this, according to Dick Dale, is that it is the worst financial move you can make:

Dale gives a step by step of what you need to do to make money as a musician. What it comes down to is whether you want to be famous or if you want to make money and the two do not seem to go hand in hand in this industry for most.

While Dale’s advice is the longer, harder road, it makes a lot more financial sense. So if you’re a musician, forget about signing with a label. Get your entrepreneurship juices flowing and do it on your own.

And if you want to be a musician, but don’t have the money for lessons? Here is how you can get guitar lessons for free
