I also will be selling items that are a lot rarer (thus much less competition) than ipod items so I should move up in the search engines fairly easily...don't think I would even want to try to with gadgets like the ipod. I also sell on eBay and bought a bunch of iPod accessories at a CompUSA that was going out of business. Rather than pay the eBay fees, I thought I'd try and sell them on my own through a blog. I posted the site, www.ipod-accessory-deals.com, on Craigslist but haven't had much success so far, driving enough traffic to your site is the key.
