Coins I found

I found $0.27 (Canadian) today. I took a little walk with my sister and niece to the ocean and along the way spotted the three coins laying directly in front of the tire of a car. Looking for dropped coins has become an unconscious habit for me. I usually find a minimum of $50 a year and I’ve found as much as $250 in a single year. Although I have found Canadian money in the US before, this is the first time I have found money while in Canada which makes it the 17th different country I’ve found money in.

  • Mike says:

Wow. I haven’t even been to 17 countries.

I remember a night in the military where a couple friends and I were planning on heading back to their house and eating mac & cheese because we had no money. We were walking on a sidewalk next to the highway and I found a $20 bill. Pizza for everyone! I love finding money on the ground.

  • every time my mom finds anything bigger than a penny, she picks it up, exlaiming “I’m rich!”
