Victoria, CanadaI’m off to Canada for a week – by car. My sister and her family are moving to Victoria on Vancouver Island for her husband’s new job and they have enlisted me to drive their car up to Canada for them (they have a 16 month old baby that would probably make driving themselves a terrible experience). I’m taking my sister to San Francisco airport for her to catch a 8:00am flight and then will begin driving from there.

I will make to Victoria Monday morning and then spend the week helping them unpack and set up their new house. I’ll then head over to Seattle and spend the weekend visiting and making plans for the sites with Nate before heading back to the Bay Area on October 31. Since I’ll be on the road, I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to post this week, but will certainly update things when I do have an Internet connection.

Although I really don’t enjoy driving all that much, I am excited to see where they will be living and it’s always fun to head out to new places and adventures. It’s going to be an early morning tomorrow, so I’m off to bed…
