dryer tipsI placed up a new satellite site this weekend which was one of those that just happened to fall into place. I was going through saving tips on the main site for another project I’ve been working on and realized that the domain Dryer Tips was available. Since I already had a list of tips to help save money while using the dryer, I knew that putting up a site wouldn’t be too difficult or time consuming. Although it took a bit longer than I anticipated, it was one of the least painful sites to get up.

For those who want an easy way to reduce the amount they spend when drying clothes, this is one that I have been using that takes about 10 minutes off the time it takes for my clothes to dry compared to when i wasn’t doing it. Simply take a bath towel or two that are dry and place them into the dryer with all the wet clothes. The dry towels help absorb moisture during the tumbling (a full load of wet clothes placed in a dryer contains about one half gallon of water) and the clothes will dry faster. We actually keep 2 bath towels on the shelf above the dryer which are used exclusively for this trick.
