“Every morning I get up and look through the Forbes list of the richest people in America. If I’m not there, I go to work.” – Robert Orben

The Latest List

(and why I posted this ;) )

And for those that are curious if you’ll be on that list someday…

Do you have what it takes to be a billionaire Quiz

My score? 64 out of 100 — not quite billionaire material. Guess I’ll be keeping my day job for awhile…

It’s an impressive list for sure. Thanks for the link, I hadn’t read the list yet.

  • Jay Gatsby says:

There are several books available that review some of the major character traits of billionaires. Suffice it to say, the vast majority of people don’t even come close to having what it takes. The risks and sacrifices required to reach billionaire status are far beyond most people’s comprehension, much less their willingness to undertake them.

  • David McCullough says:

Aloha, why should we care? I can do a lot more good for the planet and others by not making that kind of money . . . by doing medical work for example.

Also, I wonder what kind of sacrifices (time, relationships, etc.) it would take to get there.

When most people on the planet live on less than $2 a day and 2/3 have no clean drinking water . . . I just don’t give a damn about the richest people on the planet. I am sure as hell no better than am even if I would like to think so. I feel that kind of money makes you even more indebted to others but I don’t see their money benefiting others to a huge degree (maybe Soros?)

Thanks for the chance to comment!
