It’s time to do some financial juggling this month. With the first 1/3 of the month over, income is well below last month. I know that a part of the reason is that I have been spending time on building satellite sites which has taken away time from me promoting the sites and participating in the carnivals, but i think a big part of it is just being the holiday season. People are busy doing a lot of other things which has kept the site less active than normal.

With the holidays not even here yet, I’m assuming that things will only get worse for the rest of this month. That means I’m going to have to do some financial juggling to make it through the month. It’s not really a problem, but it means I will have to take a few days to sell items on eBay which means lost time working on the sites. I figured that there would be times like this when I made the commitment to try and do this full time, so this will be a good opportunity to see how it works out.

While it’s never fun having to do financial juggling with your budget and income, it is a good skill to have. This is especially true when you are trying to begin a long term project with no guaranteed income. I figure if I can sell about $500 on eBay, it should make up for this month’s shortfall.

The hope will be that once this month is over, people will have getting their finances in order as one of their New Years resolutions and traffic will pick up again along with me being able to spend a bit more time writing articles for the site. So let the juggling begin…
